MVIS makes two distributions of iris to MVIS members, usually at the August and/or September meetings:
1. The distribution to MVIS Iris Sitters of recently purchased Club Iris.
2. The distribution to MVIS members of Returned Increase Iris from Club Iris distributed in prior years.

 DISTRIBUTION PROCESS.

1. A list of available Club irises is emailed to club members.  This is purchased from a single hybridizer and the irises have been introduced in the past couple of years.

2. At the August meeting people's number will be pulled by a random process, similar to the process used in MVIS meetings.

3.  Once your number is pulled, go up and select the iris you want.  Let the club know which irises you have.  You will be responsible for bringing them back in a few years when they have multiplied.

4.  The random draw will be performed until all the purchased irises are gone.

Time permitting, we will have a program on Growing Irises in the Southwest

MEETING lOCATION

Northrise Hallmark Building:
2880 Roadrunner Pkwy, Las Cruces, NM 88011

1.
Drive to the intersection of Roadrunner and Northrise, which is 2 blocks south of the Roadrunner EXIT from Highway 70 East (an extension of North Main).

Turn East (toward the mountains) onto Northrise Drive,
3.
The partially hidden FIRST RIGHT TURN is onto a winding road leading to the parking area for the Northrise Hallmark Building.
4.
The Hallmark Building is on your right up the hill. If you have difficulty walking, drive up the hill; there is limited parking next to the building.
5.
Entrance to the Hallmark Building is through double glass doors to the Ground Floor.
6.
The stairs directly in front of you will take you to the Meeting Room on the First Floor or take the elevator at the right of the stairs up one floor.
