Bob Van Liere, well known hybridizer from Denver Colorado, will be coming to Las Cruces February 18 (Sunday), 2 PM on the Second Level (First Floor) of the Hallmark Building, Villages at Northrise. Bob owns Iris4u iris4u garden.
Iris4u is a family-operated iris garden in Denver, Colorado. Iris Bob, as he is affectionately nicknamed, grows and sells Tall Bearded Iris varieties in the heart of the Mile High City. A simple request from a former landscaping customer for a pink iris was the catalyst that started Bob’s transformation into “Iris Bob”. In 1998, he began hybridizing and introduced his first cultivars in 2005. As an established hybridizer for Tall Bearded Iris, Bob has approximately 10,000 seedlings under evaluation at any given time from previous years to current seedlings still in pots waiting to germinate.

Directions
1. Drive to the intersection of Roadrunner and Northrise, which is 2 blocks south of the Roadrunner EXIT from Highway 70 East (an extension of North Main).
2. Turn East (toward the mountains) onto Northrise Drive,
3. The partially hidden FIRST RIGHT TURN is onto a winding road leading to the parking area for the Northrise Hallmark Building.
4. The Hallmark Building is on your right up the hill. If you have difficulty walking, drive up the hill; there is limited parking next to the building.
5. Entrance to the Hallmark Building is through double glass doors to the Ground Floor.
6. The stairs directly in front of you will take you to the Meeting Room on the First Floor or take the elevator at the right of the stairs up one floor.
