Enchanted Vista Iris Society Annual Iris Show "An Iris Holiday”, Saturday, May 4, 2024, Sabana Grande Recreation Center 4110 Sabana Grande Avenue, SE, Rio Rancho, NM. Entries include the horticulture division, artistic designs (flower arrangements, must include irises), educational displays, and iris photography division Entries in all divisions are open to public participation with entries taken from 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Containers for the horticulture division is provided by the society. Judging follows from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Show Open to the public 1:00 – 4:00 PM No entry fee . 18 9:00 am: SFIS Iris Show 9:00 am – 3:00 pm May 18, 2024 The SFIS show will be held on 18 May 2024 at the De Vargas mall. Showing iris in our area is always a gamble, but our society covers such a large area that we can generally have a good show anyway (except for the 1996 show, which didn’t happen due to horrendous drought conditions). The best part about a show (aside from getting to spend a day with all out iris friends) is that if we can put on a very nice show with artisan design arrangements even if unexpected cold weather occur. The Santa Fe lris Society has been innovative, humorous and sentimental with the themes of our shows. Read more

19 2:00 pm: MVIS Monthly Meeting 2:00 pm May 19, 2024 NEXT MEETING: Sunday on the Second Level (First Floor) of the Hallmark Building, Villages at Northrise Directions to the meeting place in the Northrise Hallmark Building: 2880 Roadrunner Pkwy, Las Cruces, NM 88011 Northrise Meeting Location 1. Drive to the intersection of Roadrunner and Northrise, which is 2 blocks south of the Roadrunner EXIT from Highway 70 East (an extension of North Main). 2. Turn East (toward the mountains) onto Northrise Drive, 3. The partially hidden FIRST RIGHT TURN is onto a winding road leading to the parking area for the Northrise Hallmark Building. 4. The Hallmark Building is on your right up the hill. If you have difficulty walking, drive up the hill; there is limited parking next to the building. 5. Entrance to the Hallmark Building is through double glass doors to the Ground Floor. 6.
