The 2024 AAIS Iris Show was held in Abuquerque on May 12,Mother’s Day.
AAIS had an artistic section at their show entitled “Animated Iris”. They have 6 design classes that could be entered.
- Pocahontas – A traditional mass design which must incorporate native plant material.
- 101 Dalmatians – A black and white traditional line design.
- Yellow Submarine – A creative line design featuring a single yellow iris.
- Toy Story – A design using one or more toys as a floral container and/or within the design.
- Pinocchio – A design using wood, either as a container and/or within the design.
- Ratatouille – A design incorporating fruits and/or vegetables. Any cut fruit or vegetable must be sealed
