Albuquerque Aril and Iris Society (AAIS)

Albuquerque and Aril Iris Society (AAIS) is a combination of two former clubs; New Mexico Iris Society and Albuquerque Aril Society.  Merged in 2006 they often have two shows with the first show devoted to Arilbred and median irises.  The second show often occurs on Mothers Day.  Both shows have potted irises for sale.

Albuquerque has several well-known hybridizers in Arils and Arilbreds as well as other types.  In fact, AAIS hosted an ArilTrek in 2008 where people came from all over the country to visit the display gardens.
